Overview
Aguas Blancas is located approximately 1,600 km north of Santiago, Chile, and 75 km southeast of the port city of Antofagasta. The Property lies within the Antofagasta Province, II Region, at a latitude of approximately 24°8'S and longitude 69°53'W.
Aguas Blancas is comprised of 218 registered mining concessions, covering 42,669 ha, and 35 "estacas salitreras" covering 8,099 ha. The estacas salitreras are irregularly shaped concessions granted before 1907, which are still valid, although they are mostly covered with some of the new concessions. In addition there are 15 exploitation concessions covering 2,564 ha in the application process, and 48 exploration concessions covering 14,100 ha.
The Property is legally registered in the name of Atacama Minerals Chile S.C.M. ("AAM Chile"), and is free of mortgages, encumbrances, prohibitions, injunctions and litigation. The mining patents are paid and up to date.
